OTTAWA — Franklin County commissioners re-elected Steve Harris as commission chair for another year at their reorganizational meeting Monday. Harris said he’ll continue to emphasize economic development as a way to bring in more businesses and industries and expand the tax base over the long-term. Colton Waymire was re-elected vice chair. At today’s meeting, the commissioners opted to maintain their meeting schdule, which includes study sessions on alternative Monday mornings and regular meeting times on Wednesday mornings.
