GARNETT — The hills around Lake Garnett will be alive with the sound of music. Country musician Travis Marvin will perform at the Garnett Area Chamber of Commerce annual banquet Wednesday night, courtesy of the Anderson County Corn Festival. Marvin will also help Cornstock board members announce the 10th anniversary lineup for the Septe. 27 Cornstock Concert on the Hill. Guest speaker Jeff Gill, owner of the Tallgrass Brewing Company in Manhattan, will present awards for the business of the year and volunteer of the year.
