POMONA — The West Franklin school board could end up with a vacancy for a little more than a year. Board member Carol Scott Hamilton resigned last month. However, at the board meeting last week, a motion to solicit applications to fill the vacancy didn’t advance. That means it will be up to voters to fill the vacancy when Hamilton’s term expires next spring.
