OTTAWA — A fire that destroyed a two-story Victorian-style house at 800 S. Main St. overnight remains under investigation this morning. The family discovered the fire and escaped the fire without injury, Ottawa Fire Chief Jeff Carner said. Firefighters were at the scene shortly after 7 p.m. Wednesday until approximately 4 a.m. today. Main Street between Seventh and Ninth was closed more than eight hours Wednesday night and this morning while firefighters battled the blaze.
