OTTAWA — An Ottawa man who fled from Franklin County District Court a little more than a week ago and ran away with officers in hot pursuit is running no more. Undersheriff Rick Geist said Mark Baber is now in the Johnson County jail on unrelated charges. After his appearance in Johnson County District Court, Baber will get a chance to return to Franklin County District Court, where he’ll likely have his bond revoked and he’ll get to stay in the Franklin County jail.
