POMONA – Investigators continue to look for a gunman who robbed the Goppert State Service Bank in Pomona this morning. Officers have been interviewing people and knocking on doors in search of clues about the robber, Franklin County Undersheriff Rick Geist said. The robber walked into the bank and showed a gun, and fled east from the bank with an undetermined amount of cash, he said. At least person saw the man rip off his hat and mask as he fled, he said. Officers briefly detained one person but let him go, Geist said. They are looking for a white man 6 feet, 5 inches to 6 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing about 250 to 260 pounds. he was described as wearing a black jacket and black stocking cap with a KU logo.
