OTTAWA–Most people dread the dog days of August, but yesterday it was something more positive. Ottawa Mayor Sara Caylor and other officials were on hand to do the ribbon cutting…or in this case, a leash cutting for the new Bark Park in Forest Park. While the ceremonies went on, there were sporadic yelps and barks from dogs using the park. Their humans seemed delighted also.
