OTTAWA — Linda Reed will become Ottawa’s next mayor. Ottawa city commissioners, in planning April’s reorganization, decided to follow its normal custom of elevating the mayor pro tem. The office is largely ceremonial. Commissioner Mike Skidmore will become mayor pro tem. The commission will make this all official at their next regular meeting on April 16. That meeting will be held in the evening instead of the normal morning schedule.
