OTTAWA – A former city manager and retired Olathe public works director will serve as as interim public works director for Ottawa for the next 90 days . Bill Ramsey, Leawood, started on a part-time basis today. Ramsey is not a candidate to succeed Andy Haney, who recently retired. Ramsey has been city manager for the cities of Herington, Kan., and Centralia, Illinois; and has been a management consultant for the engineering consulting firm Bucher, Willis and Ratliff.
