LENEXA — A 41-year-old Gardner man was hit by a small SUV while he was on foot on K-10 in Lenexa Friday night. Carol Moore, 49, Topeka, was driving west on K-10 when she tried to avoid hitting a Jeep which was disabled in the outside lane of west-bound K-10, the Kansas Highway Patrol said. Her SUV sideswiped the Jeep and hit Eric Martin of Gardner. He was taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Passengers in Moore’s car and the Jeep weren’t injured.
