PRINCETON — The 75-year-old Princeton man who was the subject of the Silver Alert issued this morning by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department has been found safe. The sheriff’s department has cancelled the Silver Alert for Donald Cook. Cook was located at a Kansas City area hospital after he checked himself in, the sheriff’s department said. His family said that earlier this week, Cook was diagnosed with terminal stage four cancer and was upset by the diagnosis. He left his home Wednesday afternoon without telling anyone and without taking his wallet, money or cell phone.
