KANSAS CITY, Kan. — The Grinter Place State Historic Site’s 38th annual quilt show will be 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday and Saturday hours and noon-4 p.m. Sunday. Area hand-made quilts will be on display. Quilting materials and craft items will be available for purchase. Visitors can see and make a donation for a chance on this year’s opportunity quilt, hand-quilted by the Grinter Place Quilters. At 11 and noon Friday and Saturday, Connie Mosier, of Blanc Plume Fine French Laundry, will talk about the restoration and care of quilts and fabric. The quilt show is free. Admission to tour the house is $3 for adults, $1 for students. Kansas Historical foundation members and children five and younger are admitted free.
