OTTAWA — The Ottawa University forensics team recently competed in a national tournament in Indianapolis and brought home its highest tournament awards in university history. Two duo improvisational pairs broke into the national quarterfinals and a public forum debate team advanced to the semifinal. The improvisational teams were Garrett Hayden, Garnett, and Corban Hickman, Camdenton, Mo.; and Jacyn Dawes, Garden City, and Cody Cokely, Iola. The public forum debate team was Dawes and Cokely.
