GARNETT — A Garnett man was listed in serious condition Monday after a one-vehicle rollover crash early Saturday morning southeast of Barnett. Another Garnett man also was injured. The Anderson County Review reported Joseph Strobel, 28, was flown to the University of Kansas Hospital. Brogen Katzer, 26, also was injured in the wreck and taken to Anderson County Hospital in Garnett, where he was treated and released. Strobel was driving east on 1600 Road near Oregon Road, and was apparently was going too fast, Anderson County Sheriff Vernon Valentine told the Review. Valentine said Strobel lost control of his vehicle as he went around a curve, causing it to spin sideways and roll over. Strobel and Katzer had to be extricated from the vehicle. A third passenger wasn’t injured.
