LYNDON — Voters in the Lyndon school district overwhelmingly rejected a $12.4 million bond issue proposal in a special election Tuesday. Voters rejected the bond issue 615 to 198. The proposal lost in every precinct and in advanced balloting. The proposal would have rebuilt most of the school but would have increased the school district’s property tax levy by 20 mills.
