KANSAS CITY — Kansas City attorney and Dan Crabtree has been named a U.S. district judge for Kansas. Crabtree, a graduate of Ottawa University and the University of Kansas School of Law, was nominated by President Obama and confirmed by a vote of the U.S. Senate. He was an attorney for the Kansas City law firm Stinson Leonard Street and has been associated with the firm his entire professional life. He handled business, antitrust and civil rights cases. He represented the Kansas City Royals for U.S. Sen. George Mitchell’s investigation of performance-enhancing drugs in Major League Baseball.
