OTTAWA — Ottawa assistant fire chief Richard Oglesby has announced his retirement after 33 years of service. He will formally retire on June 20. The department will host a reception for Oglesby 2-5 p.m. June 13 at the main station on Second Street. That will be his last day in the office. During his career, Oglesby has taken on many roles and responsibilities within the department.
