OTTAWA — A national nursing accreditation group is seeking comments concerning one of Ottawa University’s nursing programs. OU is seeking to accredit its ‘RN to BSN’ completion program through the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. CCNE inspectors will make an initial on-site evaluation Sept. 15-17. The group seeks written and signed third party comments and input from interested parties regarding the program’s compliance with accreditation standards. The deadline to submit comments is Aug. 16. CCNE said third-party comments will be confidential and will not be given to OU officials but any comments will be included in the accreditation report. OU officials will have an opportunity to respond to those concerns, CCNE said. For more information, check the group’s Web site at http://www.aacn.nche.edu/ccne-accreditation. Forward comments to accreditation coordinator Catherine Sneed at the address listed on the Web site.
