LAWRENCE — A Kansas University student has been named to the Kansas Women’s Leadership Institute. Allyson Briggs, a junior in biochemistry at KU, will be among six kansas students who join with women from overseas beginning Wednesday who will participate in various leadership and educational opportunities for three weeks in Lawrence. The program is part of the Fulbright International Program.
