TOPEKA – Gov. Sam Brownback presented checks to several area school districts including Santa Fe Trail for their efforts to increase the number of students who graduate from the Career and Technical Education Program. The program covers the students’ tuition cost for technical courses and rewards school districts with a $1,000 incentive payment for each student who earns an industry-recognized technical certificate in a key occupation.
