OTTAWA — Katie Tooley of Ottawa University has been named Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference sports information director of the year. Tooley will be formally recognized at the KCAC football media day on Aug. 6 in Wichita. Tooley has been a member of the OU staff since 2006. She creates news releases for 18 teams, compiles statistics for all OU sports, and archives information. She is in charge of game day programs, media guides, and games notes for all sports. During her tenure at OU, 20 of her publications have earned NAIA honors, with two being named the best in the NAIA.
