OTTAWA — Contractors have started patching some city streets and building new sidewalk ramps. The city said crews will patch North Cherry Street between Powhattan and Blackhawk, and Willow street between Ninth and 14 streets. Crews will alert residents in each block as work proceeds. Crews will also build sidewalk ramps on Ash Street between Second and 10th, Cedar Street between 8th and 15th, Walnut between Fifth and Seventh, willow street between Seventh and 14th , Wilson between Birch and Cedar, and North Cherry Street between Powhattan and Blackhawk. The city said the work should be done by Oct. 15.
