TOPEKA – The National Weather Service office in Topeka has issued a heat advisory for the entire KOFO listening area until 7:00 p.m. Friday night. Health officials remind you to drink plenty of water and keep indoors if at all possible. If you must work outside, please make sure to take frequent breaks in an air conditioned environment. The hot temperatures are expected to return on Saturday, and KOFO News will announce if another heat advisory will be in effect.
