iHillsdale, Kan. – Miami County authorities have released further details about a fatal head on collision. The Miami County Sheriff’s office says a 1998 Honda Civic, driven by 27 year old Paul Gordon Schulz, Jr., of Wellsville, was going westbound on K-68 when it collided with a 2012 Freightliner tractor trailer. Deputies say Schulz was the only occupant of the automobile and he died at the scene. The driver and sole occupant of the tractor trailer has been identified as 36 year old Jared Stoker of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was not injured. The collision occurred near Lookout Road and that on K-68 was shut down for more than five hours.
