OVERBROOK — A 24-year-old Carbondale man was found dead early Sunday morning after he was walking on U.S. 56 west of Overbrook. Osage County Sheriff Laurie Dunn said her office received a call shortly after 5 a.m. Sunday about a man walking along U.S. 56 about a half-mile west of Paulen Road. Shortly afterwards, her office received a second call of a body in the road in about the same location. Deputies found the body of Timothy Kemble on the highway, she said. He was pronounced dead at the scene. There is no immediate cause of death. Dunn said an autopsy is will be performed today. The Osage County Sheriff’s office is asking anyone who was travelling on U.S. 56 at about 5 a.m. Sunday, or who may have talked to Kemble, to call them.
