POMONA — A 65-year-old Pomona man reported to the Franklin County Sheriff’s office that he caught a burglar red-handed at his property in the 1300 block of Reno Road northeast of Pomona. The man tried to detain the person but the burglar escaped. However, the man recovered all of the items the thief was trying to steal.
