OTTAWA–It’s not that often that cities are notified they’re getting extra federal money…but the city of Ottawa got some good news recently. The Federal Aviation Administration will give over $300,000 to help build several new T-Hangars at the Ottawa Airport for the storage of additional aircraft. The total project will cost over $800,000, so the city will have to borrow over a half million to cover the rest of the hangars. City officials hope this development, along with the purchase of a jet fuel truck, will attract more corporate business to Ottawa and Franklin County.
