OTTAWA — A 2-month old Ottawa infant died after emergency personnel were called to a residence in the 200 block of East Wilson Street Sunday morning for a call about a child not breathing. EMS paramedic performed life-saving measures and raced the infant to Ransom Memorial Hospital, Ottawa police said. The child died at the hospital. The Franklin County coroner has requested an autopsy to determine a cause and manner of death. Detectives with the Ottawa Police Department have conducted a preliminary investigation and there is no determination about the cause and manner of death. The parents of the victim are fully cooperating with the investigation, police said. Detectives will continue the investigation and await autopsy results.
