OTTAWA — A 44-year-old Ottawa man has been booked into the Franklin County jail in connection with a shooting in the 800 block of South Sycamore Street Sunday morning. Clarence Greenfield was booked for aggravated battery and unlawful discharge of a firearm after Curtis Brown, 38, Ottawa, showed up at Ransom Memorial Hospital with gunshot wounds to his hand and neck, Ottawa police said. Greenfield is being held pending charges. Brown was treated and released from the hospital. Brown and Greenfield are acquaintances and neither are fully cooperating with investigators, police said. No further information, other than the investigation is ongoing, was immediately available, police said.
