OTTAWA —  A local internet provider is crying foul over the move to make the internet subject to the F-C-C’s “Title Two” Regulation Rules. VYVE Broadband serves Ottawa and Franklin County Residents with Internet, phone, and video services and it disagrees with F-C-C’s reclassification of the Internet as a public utility. VYVE Senior Vice President of Residential Services, Vin Zachariah says now that the Government is providing oversight of the Internet, the customer stands to lose quite a bit.

The FCC claims that Title II regulation is the only way to ensure net neutrality, the concept that Internet service providers and governments should treat all data on the Internet equally, regardless of user, content, site or technological platform.
