OTTAWA–It’s no secret that many people arrested for various crimes often have mental health problems. To try to solve that, the Ottawa Police Department and other agencies are forming a Crisis Intervention Team. Police Chief Dennis Butler says he hopes a federal grant will pay for most of the expense.
