OTTAWA — The Franklin County Sheriff’s office is investigating two break-ins occurring this past weekend. A Lenexa man reported a burglary of several items in a building in the 4800 block of Georgia Terrace west of Centropolis. The man reported the burglary could have happened up to two weeks ago. The loss was estimated at $25,000. A 25-year-old Richmond man, reported a break-in at his home in the 600 block of Ohio Road northeast of Richmond. The burglar stole two firearms and damaged a gun safe. Total loss is estimated at $850.
