ATLANTA — Former Ottawa University receiver and kick returner Joshua Stangby has signed a three-year contract with the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons that could mean a $1,575,000 payout. Stangby earned all-KCAC honors for the second straight season after posting 52 receptions for 958 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2014. He averaged 18 yards per reception and 87 receiving yards per game last season. At his pro day, Stangby, a native of North Hollywood, Calif., measured in at 5-10 and 180 pounds. He ran a 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds and reached 40-and-a-half inches in the vertical jump.
