BUCYRUS — The two victims found dead of gunshot wounds at the scene of fires in northeastern rural Miami County last week have been identified. Michael Jerden, 62, and Sandy Jerden, 58, were identified by dental records, Miami County Undersheriff Wayne Minckley said. Their home at 3465 W. 239th St., and a barn and a vehicle were destroyed by the fires. Mike Jerden operated a drywall business and his wife Sandy worked at the deli counter at an Overland Park Price Chopper. The cause of the fire is undetermined and that the case remains under investigation, Minckley said.
