OTTAWA — State and federal disaster officials inspected the county’s roads and checked on the cleanup and repair efforts because of the recent flooding this week, emergency management director Alan Radcliffe told county commissioners Wednesday.  So far, county road crews have done $400,000 in repairs to flooded and damaged county roads, he said.  The state’s Division of Emergency Management has been checking with several counties and doing an inventory of the flooding damages.  Each damage has been done to qualify the state for a federal flood disaster declaration, Radcliffe said.   If the federal government issues a flood disaster declaration, the county could be repaid up to 85 percent of its flood costs.  It would probably be the end of July before the federal government issues a disaster declaration, he said.
