HOMEWOOD — Ronald Smith, 69, Williamsburg, was operating a hay baler on property in the 1400 block of Jackson Road, north of Homewood, when the baler caught on fire Sunday evening. The Franklin County Sheriff’s office estimated the damage at $11,000.
