RANTOUL — A 50-year-old Rantoul was arrested following a traffic stop by a Franklin County deputy gone bad Sunday afternoon in the 100 block of South McGinnis Avenue in Rantoul. The sheriff office said Tony Ledom was booked into the Franklin County jail for suspicion of battery on a law enforcement officer, assault on a law enforcement officer, possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of interference with law enforcement, and driving while revoked. No bond was set.
