LYNDON — Three Lyndon kids are in critical condition as a result of a single-vehicle crash in Osage County Wednesday morning. Roger Lane, 16, was driving on Morrill Road when his car struck a tree just south of 245th Road northwest of Lyndon, Osage County Sheriff Laurie Dunn said. He taken by helicopter to a Topeka hospital. He was wearing a seat belt, Dunn said. A passenger, 15-year-old Brandon Lane, 15, was injured and was flown to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. He wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. Another passenger, A.J. Lane, 1, was thrown from the car. He was taken to Topeka, and then transferred to Children’s Mercy Hospital. Dunn said A.J. was improperly restrained.
