OTTAWA — Nick Scott of Ottawa got his ticket to see Pope Francis during the Holy Father’s visit to Philadelphia. Actually, Pope Francis got to see Scott and other wheel-chair dancers. Scott was among members of the American Dancewheels Foundation who performed during the Festival of Families on Saturday. Scott said that at first, he thought the invitation was a joke. Scott says he was thankful for the opportunity and told WDAF Fox 4, Kansas City, he was nervous about remembering all the moves in his routine. “So I just think this is truly an honor to be able to dance with Pope Francis and an amazing opportunity to show others anything is possible.”
