LANE — An Ottawa teen received injuries from a one-vehicle accident Saturday afternoon east of Central Heights school. Virgil George, 17, was driving a car south in the 1200 block of Texas Road when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree and fence near Ellis Terrace, the Franklin County Sheriff’s office said. The sheriff’s office describes the injuries as minor, and he refused medical treatment.
