OTTAWA — Forest Park will be closed about 24 hours beginning tomorrow Wednesday morning. The park will be sprayed for weeds and the park will be closed to protect the public from the chemicals, city public works director Michael Haeffele said. Parks superintendent D.J. Welsh said once the park has been sprayed, park employees will reseed the entire park with new grass seed.
