LANE — A fire destroyed a shed in the 1500 block of Vermont Road north of Lane Sunday afternoon. The Franklin County Sheriff’s office said the shed was behind a home at the site. Several items inside the shed were destroyed. The sheriff’s office said there was no immediate estimate of the total nor was there a cause established for the fire.
