OTTAWA — The Franklin County Commission has moved the weekly meeting to 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the county annex. The commissioners normally meet on Wednesday but moved the meeting forward one day because of Veterans Day. The county offices are closed Wednesday because of the holiday.Commissioners are scheduled to vote on funding for the Franklin County Convention and Tourism Bureau. Funding and the amount of control the independent tourism board has in conducting tourism matters have been a source of contention between commissioners and the board.
