OTTAWA — The Franklin County Sheriff’s office is investigating one theft and solved another over the weekend. The sheriff’s office said a 15-year-old Ottawa boy took a pickup belonging to his guardian without permission from the 2600 block of Indiana Terrace south of Richter Friday. The truckwas found at Ottawa High School. The teen was booked for criminal deprivation of property. On Saturday, a 58-year-old Pomona manreported the theft of a Craftsman riding lawnmower from the 200 block of Madison Street in Pomona. The loss was estimated at $2,500.
