OTTAWA — If this coming weekend is a time for giving, last weekend was a time for taking. Ottawa police officers and Franklin County deputies were busy with a series of stolen vehicle reports. Ottawa RV reported to the sheriff’s office Friday that a 2001 Buick LeSabre was stolen from the lot. The vehicle was later found in Tennessee, the sheriff’s office said. The case is under investigation. A 58-year-old Topeka woman reported to the sheriff’s office the theft of a truck and a title. She told deputies that she knew the suspect. Joshua Gulley, 33, Ottawa, was arrested by Ottawa police Friday on a Miami County warrant. Police said when they arrested him, he was in possession of a vehicle reported stolen from Bucklin, Mo., with other property reported stolen. A 46-year-old Ottawa woman reported to Ottawa police Friday that her pickup was taken from the 500 block of East Fourth. The truck was returned, but not the keys.
