OTTAWA–After a second round of discussion, it appears the original plan to extend a bike path down the middle of Walnut Street from First to Fifth is on track again. The re-consideration came in response to area business owner complaints that they would lose parking spaces. Most of the city commission indicated they want to proceed with the original plan, although they instructed city staff to work with business owners whenver possible.
