OTTAWA — The Ottawa Library wants you join a book club for the new year – a really big book club. This book club is the entire community. “O-Town Reads” kicks off at the beginning of the new year, and is designed to bring the community together through the reading and discussion of the book, “Out of My Mind”’ by Sharon Draper. Everyone is welcome to join and the book is appropriate for fourth-grade through adult readers, the library’s Lisa Slavin said. The book promotes kindness and understanding about individuals with disabilities, she said. The books will be available at the library.
