EDGERTON — Gregory Cooper, 32, has been charged with second-degree murder and attempted aggravated in connection with the accidental death of Tyler Hnudsen, 24, Edgerton, during a fight late Saturday night at an Edgerton bar. David Biven was also injured during the fight. Police said that Cooper was swinging a pool cue at Given’s head when he struck Knudsen in the head and killed him during a fight at the Boxcar Bar and Grill. Knudsen was not involved in the fight. Cooper’s bond was set at $250,000. An account has been set up on the Internet funding site gofundme.com to help Knudsen’s widow, Jamie. Friends are trying to raise $10,000 to pay for funeral, medical and other expenses.
