OTTAWA — A 31-year-old Ottawa man was injured by a gunshot early Christmas morning in the 500 block of East Grant Street. Amrafel Torres was cleaning a firearm, when it accidentally discharged, causing a wound to his leg, Ottawa police said. He was taken to Ransom Memorial Hospital by private vehicle for treatment.
