GARNETT — Montgomery Gentry was announced today as the headliner for the 12th annual Cornstock Concert on the Hill Sept. 24 in Garnett. Country music vocalists Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry are Montgomery Gentry, and are have won or been nominated for the Country Music Association’s “Vocal Duo of the Year” award. They have released six albums that have produced more than twenty chart singles, including “That’s Something to be Proud of,” “Gone,” “Back When I Knew it All,” and “Lucky Man.” Garnett community development director, Susan Wettstein, said the other two to three bands who will share the stage will be announced later.
